World’s largest hotel ‘AbrajKudai’to open in Makkah

Saudi Arabia would soon boost the world largest hotel that is currently being built in the city of Makkah and is set to open next year.

The holy city of Makkah which homes Islam holiest site, the Masjid al-Haram is undergoing rapid transformation. The world largest hotel called the AbrajKudai would open in 2018, it costs around a whopping $3.5 billion to build and is funded by the Saudi Ministry of Finance.

The world largest hotel will have an astonishing 10,000 rooms, the number of rooms are over 2,649 more than its next rival the First World Hotel & Plaza, located in Malaysia, which currently has the Guinness World Record for largest hotel in the world with 7,351 rooms.
