Wear it with a killer dress. This is a style that will get you noticed! Begin with hair that’s smooth and straight. Hair should be clean, but if you need a little texture, spray dry shampoo throughout, and run your fingers through your hair to distribute it.

Pull two small sections of hair out of the ponytail. Working with small sections of hair at a time, “roll” the hair, pinning it as you go to secure it. Moving clockwise around the base of the ponytail, roll and pin the hair until you’ve created a bun. Unclip the two small sections of hair that you had pulled out of the ponytail. Twist each of the two sections of hair, then pin along the front of the bun to finish it.

Twist Side-Swept:

Hair that is naturally curly works beautifully with this style. For those with straight hair, simply start by curling it with hot rollers.

Comb through the teased hair lightly just to smooth and soften it. Working with a small section of hair in front of one ear, begin twisting the hair, working your way back and around your lower hairline. Thus take 3 sections of hair an d twist them and add in the lower hair line with clips. Note: If you want the “ponytail” to fall on your right side, begin by twisting a strand from the left side and vice versa. If you need to, slip a pin into the hair at the midway point so the twist stays secure. When you reach the other side of your head, secure the twist with pins and let the ends of your hair dangle freely. Repeat the process on the opposite side of your head, twisting a section of hair from in front of your ear and back around your lower hairline until it meets the first twist. Secure with pins. Carefully arrange the waves on your shoulder, then lightly spritz hair spray across your head to hold the style.

Side Braid Ponytail:

Fashion trends come and go, but there is one classic kind of hairstyle that will never step out of fashion. That is the ponytail hairstyle. But to follow the recent trend you can just add a side braid and that’s it. Your ponytail can become more attractive now.

Make a side part, then take a section of hair from the front left side of your part to your left temple. Begin a French braid by crossing the side strands over the middle. Next, pick up a section of hair and add it into the right strand, cross both pieces over the middle strand. Now, add a section of hair to the left strand, crossing both over the middle. Repeat these steps once more on each side so there are only two sections brought into the French braid. Stretch out the braid to make it look thicker. Secure the end with a pin or small elastic. Gather all your hair into a ponytail and secure with an elastic. Take the pin or elastic off the first braid, now it is tied in with the ponytail. Take a small piece of hair and wrap it around your hair elastic to cover it.

Messy Side Braid:

Even though its summer and looking cool in any event or party is a bit tough, but girls want to look gorgeous in every party. Messy side braid will give you that perfect party like look. Everyone loves a good messy side braid, but most ladies who style their hair into the plait know that it takes just the right combination of precision and messiness to look perfect. Sure, girls with messy side braids may look like they just threw their hair into the style, but we know they put some effort into the look. Between technique, product, and luck, it takes just a little bit of practice, but when you get it right, this braid can’t be beat.

Give yourself a deep side part, separating your hair in two. From there, separate each section in two again, leaving you with four sections of hair. Starting with the section on the far left, cross underneath the next section, then over the third section, then under the fourth section, as if you were basket weaving your hair. Continue this with each “new” far left section until your hair is completely braided all the way down. Secure the end of the braid with a clear elastic. Gently tug sections of the braid apart to loosen things up a bit, giving you the messy look. Don’t pull too hard — just enough to loosen the plate. This hairstyle is ideal for long hairs and can be perfectly paired with silk sarees. Here the hairs have been secured at the back of the head with the help of bobby pins in a bun shape and then the length of the hairs has been left lose. This lose section has been pulled to the front from over one shoulder to complete the style. Note that it is the curls flowing down from the bun that gives it the look.
