The participation of the media was also eye-catching.  Media partners were ATN Bangla, Channel 24, The Daily Star, ABC Radio, Daily Samakal, The Pages Magazine and online portals and BD Hernet TV.

Tootli Rahman, the founding president of the Heritage Crafts Foundation, organized the event.  She called all to come forward to protect our deadly crafts.  At the inauguration ceremony, he said, it is not possible for any single person or institution to restore this tradition.

However, the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony, the political adviser to the Prime Minister, H T Imam, said that the craft was endangered but not deleted.  He said it was not true that all traditions were lost.  They still have a chance to be renewed.
